Toni Fabris

The son of a sculptor and ceramicist, Toni Fabris was born in Northern Italy and attended a Licio Artistico before continuing his studies at the Accademia di Brera in Milan. His career flourished in the post war years and encompassed solo exhibitions in Milan and Amsterdam. He exhibited throughout his career; his work being celebrated by inclusion in the 33rd Venice Biennale in 1966.

The president of the Acedemia di Brera, Senator Walter Fontana, was amongst the first to recognise Fabris’ talent. The sculptures now presented by Talisman were part of Fontana’s important collection of 20th Century Italian Art and once graced the gardens of Fontana’s celebrated villa near Monza, Italy.
