Innovative textile brand Anna Burns Object celebrate their new collection MATTER in a partnership with Talisman Bespoke Upholstery.
The collaboration of ABO and Talisman showcases during the London Design Festival with an installation and pop-up shop at the Talisman New Kings Road showroom.
MATTER is an extension of Anna Burns Object's first textile collection Occhio di Marmo, which was inspired by the style, twists and turns of cult Italian movie thrillers made in the 60's and 70's. Talisman's love of the unique and exceptional in this era mirrors the inspiration of these fabrics. This first collection references the strong geometric form of the movie sets, which are then composed of jewel-coloured textures taken from mineral, matter and hair. MATTER is a series of 'plain' prints of stone, marble, and surreal hair, suitable for soft furnishings, curtains and upholstery.

ART ON RUGS
AMY KENT
Bespoke rug designer Amy Kent and her sister, artist Lucy Kent, launch their collaboration 'Art on Rugs' at Talisman. Their exhibition and pop-up also runs throughout the London design Festival and beyond, showcasing their collection of 10 rugs and the abstract paintings that inspired them.

Talisman sets the tone for the fashion label Sies Marjan pop-up shop at Selfridges, Oxford Street. In collaboration with 1st Dibs, a selection of Talisman pieces curated by Sies Marjan designer, Sander Lak sit alongside his exciting new womenswear collection.
Formerly the head of design at Dries Van Noten, Sander launched his own label, Sies Marjan, to great acclaim at New York Fashion week, February 2016.
The installation will be in Selfridges from September 4th to October 14th 2016.
